Experience

I qualified in 2010 as a counsellor. During my training I was a volunteer counsellor at The Information Shop for Young People in Burgess Hill, as well as a volunteer bereavement counsellor at St Peter and St James Hospice.

I worked for 5 years as a counsellor at Signposts in Burgess Hill — a drop-in centre supporting people with learning difficulties, disabilities, and mental health issues.

For 5 years I was an Associate Counsellor with Professional Help, which offered bereavement counselling support.

Between July 2018 and April 2022, I was an Associate Counsellor with the Laurel Centre, which offered specialist counselling in sex and porn addiction. Please note that I no longer work in this field. However, I am happy to work with clients whose addiction is now historical and who wish to work on other aspects of their lives (e.g. trauma or loss). I am also still working with partners who have a partner with an active addiction.

In February 2019, I opened up my private counselling practice full-time and see clients at my home in my consulting room.
