General counselling

Not every reason for seeking counselling fits neatly into a single label. General counselling offers a safe, confidential space to talk through whatever is weighing on you — at your own pace, and without judgement.

What I can help with

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You may be living with anxiety or stress, feeling low or stuck in depression, struggling with low self-esteem, or working through difficulties in your relationships. Sometimes it is simply a sense that something is not right, and you need space to understand it.

Whatever has brought you here, you do not need to have it all worked out before we begin. My role is to listen, to support, and to help you make sense of what you are experiencing.

How counselling can help

Talking to a counsellor who is neutral and has no hidden agendas can give you the freedom to say what you want without fear of ridicule or judgement. Together we can explore your thoughts and feelings, understand the patterns that may be holding you back, and work towards the changes you want to make.

I offer both short and long-term counselling, and the number of sessions is always decided collaboratively — there is no fixed programme.
